McMurdo provides a range of electronics products for the marine safety market. This includes the Smartfind range of emergency position indicating radio beacons (EPIRB) developed in support of the International Maritime Organisation (IMO) Safety of Life at Sea (SOLAS) regulations. Additionally McMurdo has developed its own Search And Rescue Transponder (SART) as well as a range NAVTEX receivers, GMDSS VHF radios and other safety products.
